I am constantly inspired by what I see. I really love being able to hit the browse button on 1000 markets and watch the page fill up with awe inspiring design. Page by page, the random compilation of items as they appear, inspire me. The photos are exquisite, and my mind starts to wander as I look at all of this handcrafted goodness. I do this activity daily, it keeps me in touch with my free thinking self. Then from almost out of nowhere creative genius hits and I am physically propelled to my studio. Patience, is an art that I am constantly attempting to practice. Most of my projects require many long and labor intense steps, with plenty of down time between each. I may be slow to list, but I do not want to rush an item to market, until I am completely satisfied with the look and feel of the item.

Christmas snow, is so lovely, the idea of a beautiful picturesque white Christmas, cozy and warm, hot coco, family all together. Ah the idea, and the reality, often so different. I took this soft picture before the Christmas snow, It was taken at 530 am, on a morning before I was to go to work. I was unable to get my car out of the driveway that day, so home I sat. The snow has been here for nearly 2 weeks.

Christmas day it snowed some more, about 8 inches to be exact. My family was unable to make it for our Christmas celebration. Snow bound everyone stayed where they were and we vowed to celebrate the next day. Two feet of snow on the ground, December 26, we celebrated a family Christmas, everyone all together, and the snow started to fall again...
